Family Life Ministry and Programming Coordinator
Diocese of Portland

The Diocese of Portland has an immediate opening for a family life ministry and programming coordinator to work in the diocese’s Office of Lifelong Faith Formation. This two-fold position is responsible for both areas. As the family life ministry coordinator, the individual will provide resources, formation, and services in marriage and family ministries to parishes/clusters. As the programming coordinator, the individual will work in collaboration with other members of the office staff in the planning, oversight, and implementation of programs in all areas of lifelong faith formation. The successful candidate will have earned a bachelor’s degree in a related field; possess three to five years of experience in catechetical, family or related ministry in a parish setting; and be an active practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church. Additionally, this individual should be experienced in planning and organizing programs; have excellent management, budgeting, and communication skills; and be comfortable and proficient with technology. Administrative Assistant
Holy Savior Parish, Rumford

Holy Savior Parish in Rumford has an immediate, full-time opening for an administrative assistant (40 hours per week, benefit eligible). The responsibilities include maintaining the parish database and calendar, scheduling, updating the parish’s Facebook page and website, and greeting visitors to the office. This position works closely with the pastor and the business coordinator to ensure that administrative needs of the parish are met. Pastoral Life Coordinator
St. Rose of Lima Parish, Jay, and St. Joseph Parish, Farmington

There is an immediate opening for a part-time pastoral life coordinator (20 hours per week) to serve St. Rose of Lima Parish in Jay and St. Joseph Parish in Farmington. The pastoral life coordinator collaborates primarily with the pastor and business manager in the administration of parish life and mission. This person works closely with the faith formation coordinators in the two parishes to sustain/develop comprehensive faith formation initiatives. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field, parish-based ministry experience, and be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Catholic Church. Keyboardist/Choir Director
Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Boothbay Harbor

Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, located at 82 Atlantic Avenue in Boothbay Harbor, seeks a year-round keyboardist/choir director with vision and enthusiasm to accompany weekend Masses, direct the choir, and play the keyboard at weddings and funerals. The keyboardist/choir director will also play during weekly choir practice, on holy days, and at seasonal services, with opportunities for additional services. The successful candidate will possess experience in accompanying congregations and have familiarity with the Catholic faith. Administrative Assistant
Parish of the Holy Eucharist, Falmouth

The Parish of the Holy Eucharist in Falmouth has an immediate opening for an administrative assistant (15 hours per week) at the parish office. The responsibilities include typing, photocopying, filing, answering phones, opening and distributing mail daily, and managing the database. The successful candidate will be proficient on the computer and have 3-5 years of experience as an administrative assistant. Parish Office Assistant

Our Lady of Hope Parish in Portland seeks a parish office assistant. This is a part-time position (Monday through Thursday). Responsibilities include logging sacramental records in the parish registry, processing incoming/outgoing mail, welcoming visitors, answering phones, and providing general information/assistance to the public. Organist/Pianist/Choir Director
St. Rose of Lima Parish, Jay

St. Rose of Lima Parish in Jay seeks an organist/pianist/choir director. The individual will direct the parish’s music ministry; be responsible for preparing the music program; play the organ/piano at two weekend Masses; and serve as the primary organist/pianist for funerals, weddings, and holy days. The successful candidate will possess proficiency as an organist/pianist, the ability to train and direct cantors and a choir, a working knowledge and familiarity with Catholic liturgy, and strong people skills. Business Coordinator

Pre-Kindergarten Instructor

St. Michael School in Augusta seeks a part-time pre-kindergarten instructor for the three-year-old classroom. The qualified candidate should be, at a minimum, an ed tech III with state-required certifications and paperwork meeting the qualifications as defined by the State of Maine. Foreign Language Teacher

The successful candidate will possess the ability to teach conversational Spanish and/or French and some Spanish and/or French culture. Varsity Field Hockey Coach

World Languages Teacher
Cheverus High School, Portland

Cheverus High School in Portland seeks a world languages teacher (French, Spanish and/or Mandarin Chinese). Currently, the school offers Spanish and French and has a three-year language requirement with many students opting to continue on for a fourth year. The school has offered Mandarin Chinese in the past and currently has students pursuing this study through the Jesuit Virtual Learning Academy. The school is interested in candidates who possess the ability to teach in any of these languages. The ability to teach in more than one of these languages is welcome but not required.
