Assistant to the Department of Ministerial Services
Diocese of Portland

The Diocese of Portland seeks a full time assistant to the Department of Ministerial Services. This position’s responsibilities include offering administrative assistance to the various office directors in the department, including the Offices of Vocations, Seminarians, Ongoing Formation, the Vicar for Priests, the Diaconate. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of administrative assistant experience, the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information, exceptional familiarity with Microsoft Office, and be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church. Handyman
Parish of the Holy Eucharist, Falmouth

There is an immediate opening for a handyman at the Parish of the Holy Eucharist which includes churches in Gray, Freeport, Yarmouth, and Falmouth. The handyman provides routine maintenance and minor repairs to the facilities in the parish, and schedules appointments with contractors as well as directing them. Qualified candidates will have 2-3 years of experience with maintenance and minor repair work. Must have a clean driving record and the ability to travel between locations. Director of Youth Ministry
All Saints Parish, Brunswick

All Saints Parish seeks a director of youth ministry at St. Mary Church in Bath. Duties include recruiting and training leaders, and supervising all youth ministry activities from junior high through high school. The successful candidate should possess strong people and organizational skills, be a self-starter, and be a practicing Catholic. Priority is given to a candidate with background in pastoral ministry, but all candidates must be willing to engage in ongoing training and formation. This is a 20-hours per week position. Schedule is flexible but will require some weekend work as well as occasional holiday hours. Keyboardist/Choir Director
All Saints Parish, Brunswick

All Saints Parish seeks a keyboardist/choir director to serve at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Boothbay Harbor. The successful candidate will possess the enthusiasm to accompany weekend Masses, direct the choir, and play the keyboard for weddings and funerals. Sexton
All Saints Parish, Brunswick

All Saints Parish is now accepting applications for a part-time sexton to serve at St. Mary Church in Bath. The successful candidate will be responsible for light, property maintenance; the shoveling of walkways;  and supporting the residential priest and parish staff and volunteers. Additional duties include setting up and cleaning up the function hall, the removal of trash and recycling, organizing maintenance areas, washing and buffing floors, and daily restroom maintenance. Applicants should be able to perform outlined tasks with minimal and be able to pass a post-offer physical exam. Knowledge of the Catholic church or willingness to learn is required. This position is for 20 hours per week (Mondays through Fridays from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.). Occasional weekend work might be required. College Chaplain

Saint Joseph’s College seeks a college chaplain to provide leadership for the liturgical life on campus; develop spiritual programs that express the College’s Catholic, Mercy identity; nurture and respond to the needs of a religiously and culturally diverse community; support special programs and social justice initiatives; and demonstrate an active and pastoral presence on campus. Requirements include a master's degree or equivalent training in an appropriate area of study (e.g. theology, religious studies, pastoral care, CCMA-sponsored Catholic Campus Minister Certification); ordained Roman Catholic priest endorsed by his ecclesiastical supervisor (Diocesan bishop or provincial); 3-5 years of experience working with youth/young adult ministry in an educational and/or interreligious setting; an awareness of issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion; and a commitment to the spirituality and charism of the Sisters of Mercy.
