Hospital Pastoral Care

Catholic pastoral care at Southern Maine Medical Center has been provided for almost 30 years. This ministry is sponsored by Good Shepherd Parish, and the churches of St. Philip, St Margaret and St Martha. Janice Biasin-Hanson is our Catholic chaplain at the hospital. Hours are 9-3, Monday-Friday.The hospital pastoral care office phone number is 294-5300.

Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration is ongoing at the Perpetual Adoration Chapel, 27 Thornton Ave., Saco. Come and spend some time with Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. For more information or to sign up for scheduled adoration, call Therese Lessard at 282-9294.

Cluster 25 Committee first met in September, 2005. Their task was to restructure the cluster parishes to meet the challenges of a New Evangelization. More information on their deliberations can be found on the following link. http://www.catholic-parishes.biddeford.me.us/Cluster25News/cluster.htm

The two remaining cluster parishes of St Margaret in Old Orchard Beach and St Philip in Lyman plan to canonically join Good Shepherd Parish in 2010.
