The purpose is to publicly fulfill the Lord’s instruction to “Pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest” (Mt 9:38, Lk 10:2). It affirms the primacy of faith and grace in all that concerns vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life.

The Green Mass, honoring those who serve in protecting Maine's natural beauty, will be held at St. Louis Church at 9 a.m.

The “topics and tea” event at St. Charles Borromeo Church starts at 3 p.m. and will feature farm-to-table and fair-trade refreshments as well as a panel of local experts who will offer action steps to attendees.
April 23-25, 2018
The sessions will be held from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in Caribou (April 23), Bangor (April 24), and Portland (April 25).
April 25, 2018
Bishop Deeley and other faith and community leaders will speak during the service at St. John Church at 6:30 p.m.
April 27-29, 2018
Participants will joyfully share in the care of God’s people by using the gifts of their hands to knit or crochet sacred prayer shawls.
